The Weekend Theater will host an acting and musical theater technique workshop for youth on Saturday, Feb. 2, from 9:30 a.m. to noon at the theater, 1001 W. Seventh St..
The workshop is designed for youth ages 12-18 and will be led by Michael Scott, a Little Rock native who is a director and professional improvisor.
Scott will share foundational techniques for acting in plays and musicals. Both beginners and veterans stand to extract valuable lessons on listening, maintaining focus, and working with fellow actors and directors, all while holding fast to what makes them unique as people.
